How to ensure fitting of body protectors

The best body protector which is quite fit to the torso. If the red Velcro of shoulder and waist is not visible then body protector is quite fit to wear. If it is visible, it means that protector is too small or incorrectly fastened.

The fitting of body protector is most important and it can be check by waist and chest as well as from top and bottom of size range. If body protector is fit and then it be comfortable and long life.

The manufacturers offer a special sizes or even made-to-measure body protectors. If one cannot be found that fits and is comfortable, it is possible to order one that will fit and is comfortable.
Main Points to check fitting.

The body protector should put on over light clothing. Also it must be comfortable to wear in all stimulated riding positions. The garment should fit securely tight to avoid any movement during any event of mishap.

When ones put on selected body protector and it is adjusted to snug fit. Use the shoulder closures to make fine adjustments to the fit around the shoulders. Similarly do up the second flap of the shoulder closure. Pull the waist flaps of the back panel forward and press them onto the Velcro of the front panel. Tighten one then the other to get a tight fit. Adjust the length of the waist strap and do it up. Carefully check the overall fit is snug, and that no red velcro is visible. A lady may use of a larger size of front panel than back panel enables a more comfortable fit to be achieved. Panels from adjacent sizes are compatible. In garments where the shoulder protector is separate, you may find that the garment can be adjusted at the shoulder.
